Global Elite FC is the first futsal combination set up in Arizona to incorporate the best practices, tactics, and philosophies from the world’s leading youth programs into one single curriculum. The objective at GEFC is to develop the complete player, by placing ‘intelligent decision making’ as the cornerstone of the training environment. The main benefits of these programs are Ball Mastery, Speed of Play, Agility and Balance, Movement Off of the Ball, and Creativity. Hardwood Hoops – Spring League Basketball

April 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th
Hardwood Hoops continues its Spring League. The Spring League runs Saturdays starting in April and continues into May. Tucson Basketball Summer League

May – August
They’re back at it again with their Summer League! Join the TBL in it’s new summer season!!! Contact the Tournament Director Tom Danehy here for more information. 

The Tucson Basketball League is an adult-recreation league devoted to promoting spirited competition with a strong emphasis on sportsmanship. Now in its 21st year of operation, the TBL has included hundreds of teams and thousands of players over the years, including some of the best amateur (and a few professional) players in Southern Arizona.  For more information regarding the league, please visit their website.

Hardwood Hoops – Memorial Day Classic

May 24th, 25th, and 26th
Hardwood Hoops runs 5 tournaments per year – three youth tournaments and two high school tournaments.  The youth tournaments are run in February, June, and November.  The high school tournaments are run in May and June. The Memorial Day Classic is a grand four day tournament where high school teams compete to take home the prestigious title of Memorial Day Classic Tournament Champions. Global Elite FC- 1st Summer Futsal League

May 31st – June 30th

Join the ONLY futsal leagues in the region on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays this summer! The 1st league will start the weekend of May 31st and run for 5 weekends, with 1-2 games per weekend, to get all teams a total of 6 games. The 2nd league will start the weekend of July 12th and run for 6 weekends (no games July 19-21). Sunday Morning Hoops

Our Women’s Basketball League is finally back!!! Our summer season starts June 2nd, so bring your squad and get ready to ball up! This league is open to ages 16 and up.

 

Hardwood Hoops – Summer Camp

Session 1: June 3rd-6th (Monday-Thursday)
Session 2: June 10th-13th (Monday-Thursday)
Hardwood Hoops is currently hosting 3 camps per year; Summer Camp (Session1 and Session 2) and Holiday Camp (December).  The Hardwood Hoops Camp program is directed by Coach Karl Pieroway former men’s head basketball coach at Pima Community College and Ironwood Ridge High School.  Hardwood Hoops Camps are committed to teaching the fundamentals of the game and having fun.  Camp will include teaching; ball handling, passing, shooting, footwork, 2-man game, 3-on-3, 5-on-5, and more.  The staff will consist of former and current college and high school coaches and players. ONE 10 Basketball Camp 

July 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, and 19th
ONE10 is a nonprofit organization committed to the development of youth student-athletes. Their mission is to offer kids of all backgrounds and ability levels the opportunity to increase skill level, knowledge and love of their sport.  Athletes will learn life-lessons and build core values such as hard work, respect, discipline, self-motivation, team work, and sportsmanship. Using the revenue created from their organized camps, corporate sponsorship contributions, and individual donations ONE10 provides free camps to athletes who are in an unequal socioeconomic position and awards college grants to student-athletes who show exceptional sportsmanship and integrity both inside and outside of the sports arena. Summer Slam 

July 19th, 20th, and 21th
The Summer Slam tournament has been a tradition in Tucson since 1994. Entering its 26th year, it is one of the largest tournaments in the Southwest, attracting a diverse mix of teams — including teams from the Western US and Mexico – that makes it a unique and competitive experience.
