TOURNAMENTS
The Sporting Chance Center is an ideal venue for basketball, volleyball, badminton, and other tournaments. Below are links to tournaments currently scheduled. If you are interested in renting space in the Center to host a tournament, visit our Facility Rental page
BASKETBALL TOURNAMENTS
The Sporting Chance Center hosts several basketball tournaments throughout the year. Our two major youth basketball tournaments are the Sporting Chance Summer Slam, each July, and the Tucson Holiday Tip-Off, each December.
ANNUAL SUMMER SLAM
The Sporting Chance Summer Slam is the largest annual youth basketball tournament in Southern Arizona (Grades 3-9). The Summer Slam is held every year towards the end of July.

HARDWOOD HOOPS FALL LEAGUE – 2021

Shoot some hoops with Hardwood Hoops this September. The tournament will feature 3 divisions (V, JV, and F) for high school level teams. The tournament will host both boys and girls teams.

ANNUAL HOLIDAY TIP-OFF
The Tucson Holiday Tip-Off, founded in 1993, is the longest-running annual youth basketball tournament in Arizona. The Holiday Tip Off is held every year towards mid-December.

HARDWOOD HOOPS MEMORIAL WEEKEND CLASSIC
Every year Friday-Sunday of Memorial Day weekend!
Shoot some hoops with Hardwood Hoops on Memorial Weekend. The tournament will feature 3 divisions (V, JV, and F) for high school level teams. The tournament will host both boys and girls teams.

HARDWOOD HOOPS ANNUAL SOUTHWEST SHOWDOWN
for Varsity, JV, and Freshman Boys and Girls teams. Pool play on the first two days, then a single-elimination tournament on the third day.

CLUB CACTUS INVITATIONAL
The Cactus Classic Invitational is a three-day volleyball tournament held annually in Tucson, Arizona over MLK Weekend. Cactus Classic pulls in over 100 volleyball teams each year to provide a fun event. For more information, check out their page.
